🌸 2025 Peony Bloom Season

The number one question we get each season is:

“When is the bloom going to happen?”

The honest answer? We don’t know!

Mother Nature has the final say—and while we can’t predict the exact date, here’s everything we do know:

Our peonies are typically in bloom for about 14 days, with the peak happening in the first 4 days. The earlier you visit after the bloom begins, the more spectacular the fields will look. That said, even guests who visit toward the end of the bloom consistently tell us how magical their experience was—amazing memories and epic photos are guaranteed either way.

Over the last 6 years, we’ve worked hard to extend our season by expanding our peony varieties. With over 250,000 peonies in bloom each year, the farm transforms into a dreamlike world of color, scent, and natural beauty.

🌿 2025 Bloom Scenarios

We’ve broken this year’s forecast into three likely timeframes:

Early Bloom

📅 May 6–20
Warm weather could push the bloom earlier—which is actually ideal as it aligns with Mother’s Day and Memorial Day.
🌡️ This scenario has occurred 1 out of 6 years (17%).

Estimated Bloom

📅 May 17–31
Based on historical averages, this is the most likely window for peak bloom.
📈 This has occurred 4 out of 6 years (67%).

Late Bloom

📅 May 24–June 7
Cooler spring temps or cold snaps can delay the bloom.
❄️ This has occurred 1 out of 6 years (17%).

🗓️ How Does Booking Work?

We offer Pre-Bloom Reservations—a way for our most eager guests to lock in their spot before bloom dates are finalized. Here’s why that matters:

  • ⏱️ You get 48-hour early access to pick your date and time before we open bookings to the public.

  • 🌸 You have the highest chance of seeing peak bloom.

  • 📲 Once bloom begins, you’ll be notified by phone, email, and social media to pick your exact visit time.

After the pre-bloom window closes, we’ll open ticket sales to all guests. Reservations are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future season. If we’re unable to contact you, we’ll make every effort to get in touch and find a solution. As a small family-run farm, refunds truly hurt us, but we’ll always work with you if something unexpected happens.
